Your AI,
fluent in screenplay.
scriptz gives your AI assistant a screenwriter's toolkit. It edits by scene, character and page, and your formatting never breaks.
Cut three pages from scenes 31 to 38. Leave scene 34 alone. Show me first.
Dry run. Nothing changed yet.
- Sc. 32Trim the hallway exchange
- Sc. 34Left alone, as asked
- Sc. 37Cut the second phone call
Approve it and the edit is saved as a revision you can undo.
Cut three pages from Act 2. Rename a character in every cue. Export the PDF. It's still a script.
Three things, done properly
Edit by scene, not by search.
"Cut three pages from scenes 31 to 38. Leave scene 34 alone." Your assistant sees the outline, the page ranges and every scene by number.
Keep the page a page.
Sluglines, (MORE), CONT'D and page breaks are handled for you. Built to match the page breaks of reference PDFs.
Undo anything.
Every change is saved as a revision. Ask for a dry run first, compare any two drafts, restore any version.
How it fits. Keep writing in Final Draft, Highland or WriterDuet. Bring the script to your AI assistant through scriptz, and take it back out as FDX, Fountain or PDF.
Three steps. No copy and paste.
Bring your script
Open a Fountain or FDX file from Final Draft, Highland, WriterDuet or any app that exports them. scriptz reads every scene, character and page.
Connect scriptz to your AI assistant
Setup takes a few minutes; we'll walk you through it.
Ask in plain words
Your assistant now works the way a script editor would.
Each one a real request
“Give me the outline of Act 2.”
Lists every scene with its number, heading, characters and page range.
“Cut three pages from scenes 31 to 38. Show me first.”
A dry run of every proposed cut, then the edit, the new page count and a revision you can undo.
“Rename MAYA to NOOR everywhere.”
Changes every cue, (V.O.), (CONT'D) and action line, with a count before it touches anything.
“Which scenes is DEV in, and how much does he talk?”
Scene list and dialogue share per character.
“Find every NIGHT exterior.”
Every matching scene heading, with page numbers.
“Export a PDF.”
Industry-format pages, with (MORE) and CONT'D where they belong.
What it never does. Write scenes, dialogue or action. Your assistant suggests; you decide what stays.
Frequently asked questions
Does scriptz write my script? +
No. scriptz has no feature that writes scenes, dialogue or action. It gives your AI assistant precise tools to read and change the script you wrote. Your assistant suggests; you decide.
Which AI assistants does it work with? +
We're testing with Claude first. Join the waitlist to hear when it's ready.
Do I have to stop using Final Draft? +
No. Keep writing where you write. scriptz reads Fountain and FDX and gives them back the same way, plus PDF.
Where does my script go? +
scriptz controls what happens on our servers. When you ask your assistant to read a scene, that scene goes to your assistant's provider under its own data policy. If you want nothing on our servers, run scriptz on your own computer.
Will the page count be right? +
scriptz paginates with the industry rules: (MORE), CONT'D, no scene heading alone at the foot of a page. We build to match the page breaks of reference PDFs, and we never promise an exact match with any one app.
Can I undo a change? +
Yes. Every edit is a revision. Ask for a dry run before any big change, compare any two drafts, and restore any version.
Is it for features or TV? +
Both. Locked pages, A-pages and revision colors for shows in production arrive with the Production plan.
I don't use AI. Is scriptz for me? +
Probably not yet, and that's fine.
Which formats can I export? +
Fountain (.fountain), Final Draft (.fdx), and PDF. Fountain is plain text, so your work is never locked in.
Who owns what I write? +
You do. Your scripts belong to you, and you can export everything at any time.
How much does it cost? +
scriptz is free to start. Prices are set at launch, and the first 250 writers on the waitlist lock in $7 a month for as long as they stay.
When can I start? +
We are inviting people from the waitlist in small batches. Join and we'll write when scriptz is ready for your pages.
Your pages, your words, your assistant. Finally on the same page.
Be first through the door.
